Work Experience
I began my career in 2020, working freelance for businesses that wanted to move content/services online during the pandemic. I developed videography, photography, editing, social media, and content marketing skills in these roles.

From my freelance experience, I gained a long-term client and worked with them for three years. I helped develop a social media strategy, branded documents, business cards, and logos during this time. I taught the employees how to manage and create content, allowing them to understand digital advertising.

Since attending university, I have interned in two different roles that benefited my skills in various ways. I worked as a social media manager in my first internship, and the skills I developed allowed me to progress to social media manager in my most recent role.

Below, you can access examples of work and content I created in these roles alongside personal projects.

MDX Works - Reed Early Talent Scheme
I worked with external colleagues to design PSD and PNG files ready to be released as Instagram content. These posts were released as part of planned, scheduled content that fit the social marketing plan.
MDX Works - Job Fair
Working with external partners to create content on short deadlines was a key part of my role as social media assistant. Advertising career fairs and job roles required standardised branding true to its audience.
MDX Works - Alumni Led Sessions
This content was designed to work seamlessly over a few weeks, with advertising sessions available to students. The content needed to seamlessly fit MDX and Middlesex University branding across all platforms. The files were designed from scratch on InDesign and shared as templates for future events.
Angel of the Prisons - Instagram Content
After designing and implementing a social media marketing strategy, I created multiple types of content for Instagram and Twitter, ensuring it was branded to the play's theme.
Angel of the Prisons - Website
In my role, I was asked to design a website that reflected the social media campaign in an attempt to drive extra ticket sales and leave a legacy. We achieved this, and the play sold out, with good engagement on the website.
Angel of the Prisons - Paid Ads
To drive ticket sales, we worked with a small budget to implement paid adverts on sites like MyTheatreMates advertising the play. I designed and created banners and PR squares on InDesign and Photoshop to achieve the desired effect.
